Thank You from Dorothy Brown

Let me thank you Cook County for your support and for believing in me and for giving me another term as the guardian of the public trust. I am honored and humbled by your support and trust. I want you to know that I take it very seriously. I want to thank my volunteers for their endless and tireless work. I could not have done this without you.

Part of being the Circuit Court Clerk is not just guardian the public trust, but being an efficient steward of taxpayer's dollars. Journeys are always rewarding. History has proven that without a journey--you have no growth. Yes we have had challenges. It did not matter how many times some people tried to derail this campaign. Those challenges became a stepping stone, an opportunity to talk about our good work. It helped define us and where we want to go. More work needs to be done and thanks to your support, more work will be done.

You the voters gave me a mandate, so together, let's roll up our sleeves and simply just get busy doing what needs to be done to continue to get this office where it needs to be. I am a lifelong public servant, in everything I do. I serve my community and work to improve life. Once again, thank you for believing in me.

Sincerely,

Dorothy Brown
